Enter the strangely beautiful world of Lauren Baker. Her works have been exhibited at Tate Modern, London Design Festival and Harrods window.
Baker’s most intricate work; The Crystal Tiger is a life-size tiger head sculptureencrusted with 35,000 Swarovski crystals. World-renowned luxury shoe designer Jimmy Choo endorsed the crystal tiger calling it a ‘dazzling piece of art’. The artwork, which was modeled by trend-setter Jaime Winstone, fetched £10.5k at auction on 21.3.13 for the tiger conservation charity Save Wild Tigers.
Lauren’s sell-out art workshops have been featured in Time Out. Notably the ‘Living Dead’ workshop at Tate Modern. The Damien Hirst inspired workshop led by Lauren was ‘one of the most popular’ the Tate Collective has experienced.
We are more than happy to have Lauren as a FFL tutor and mentor. Her creativity knows no bounds and this is a welcome addition to our teams skill set.
